Sally's Place is owned by Sally Lock.

Sally is the Co-Director of Sally's Place. Kelly Kirkham is the fulltime on-site Director and you can read more about Kelly on the 'about us' page.

Sally's journey into the field of early childhood care began in 1988 when she started a Diploma of Early Childhood at Melbourne University and qualified in 1991. She went on to teach at nursery, pre-primary and child care centres in Europe, Melbourne and Perth until 1998, when she pioneered Claremont Day Nursery.

Claremont Day Nursery was a 39-place child care centre, regarded as one of the premium services in Western Australia. It was frequently used by resource groups, TAFE's and Universities as an example of a centre which provides and maintains exceptional child care practices. Sally held a licence in her name for almost 10 years.

Says Sally, "Excellent management and use of the latest approaches in early childcare benefit the children and their families and contribute to the success of my child care centres. Having Lucy has helped me understand and relate to the joys as well as the challenges of my client families."

Sally is passionate about child care and is committed to delivering excellence in all areas of the centre. She has made Sally's Place a wonderful learning environment where children love to stay and play.

Sally and Heath have recently welcomed their second child, a little boy Levi.
