The Staff
The staff at Sally's Place are integral to the care, enjoyment and safety of the children at the centre.
This team of outstanding, dedicated individuals brings diverse strengths and attributes to Sally's Place. Primarily the staff are selected on their absolute love of working with children and embracing the unique operating philosophy of Sally's Place. The objective is to retain staff and offer an exceptional working environment.
Selection of staff is based on but not limited to experience, maturity, commitment to early childhood education, good health, knowledge of children's development and a positive attitude. Individuals must be approachable, caring to children and their families and can work effectively in a team.
Early childhood educators in each of the rooms have formal qualifications and there are also a number of senior and experienced casual staff who support each room.
Sally's Place also employs a cook who manages everything to do with food, preparation of meals and menu planning. The Food Co-ordinator is trained in Food Safety and Nutrition.
