The Centre has been architecturally designed to create an environment that is welcoming, stimulating and safe to enhance and stimulate children's creativity and curiosity.
There is a main building with three playrooms, an art room and an administration building. The buildings surround and look out onto a beautifully equipped playground area which is sure to bring immense enjoyment at playtimes!
Sally's Place takes full advantage of the wonderful harbour bush setting by offering excursions and incursions including walks in the gardens of the Centre, local walks to Georges Heights lookout, oval and the walking trail next to Sally's Place. Sally's Place is fortunate to have such spectacular surroundings and therefore it is important to nurture childrens' interest in discovery and nature by encouraging exploration of their natural environment.
The Playrooms and Facilities of Sally's Place
The main building houses the childrens' playrooms. It backs onto the courtyard, where there is a covered wooden verandah that allows children to go outside during wet weather.
Nursery Room (0-2 years)
This beautifully appointed playroom with views over the harbour has been equipped with quality toys and furniture that nurtures each developmental stage of this age group.
Toddler Room (2-3 years)
A spacious fun room for busy, active toddlers, filled with a diverse range of stimulating toys and interactive activities to inspire their imagination.
