Involving Families in the Centre

Parent participation is enthusiastically welcomed at Sally's Place as family is an important influence on a child's learning and development.

It is important to create a sense of community at Sally's Place so families are more involved in the Centre. Several fun and entertaining functions are organised each year, encouraging children and parents to socialise with other families and the Centre staff.

Communication

Open and friendly communication between staff and families is encouraged so that parents can keep up to date with any changes relating to a child's development or routine at home. The more comprehensively the staff know your child, the better they can meet your child's needs.

The staff at Sally's Place are professional and will give parents honest, open feedback regarding the child. Verbal feedback is important at the end of the day; staff will tell you how your child has been and what experiences they have most enjoyed. Parents are welcome to phone during the day to see how their child is doing and staff are are always available to answer any questions or discuss any issues.

Once a child is enrolled at the centre a password will be issued allowing access to the parent's area of the website where you can download the latest invoice and update children's enrolment details with the simple SmartFees application and also access the latest newsletter.
